Urban Scholars
I did a talk to a group of enthusiastic and ambitous young people from the Urban schloars. I spoke about some of my experiences and hope the scholars learned something….. I did! I really enjoyed the day and really appreciated all the kind words from you after the talk it made it all worthwhile, thank you. If you were at the talk and you learned something or took something from it I would love to hear what it was that made a difference, your feedback is really important to make sure I know what makes a difference to you so I can help others is a similar situation. So if you are commited to change let me know what you thought and let me know how you will use what you learned today in your own lives, leave a comment below.
Peace
andy

i did the dance thing a couple of weeks ago on friday. IT WAS SO COOL. just thought i’d say that so…yeah. I really gained confidence and learnt to move with the music instead of counting the beats.
At first I wasn’t too pleased about having to give up my lunch-break, but it was totally worth it. And all those people who didn’t do it or didn’t do the whole thing were seriously missing out (COUGH<>ahem).
Glenjamin =]>
(the one with the curly hair that kept bobbing up and down every time i did a jerky move which i found rather amusing when i looked in the mirror)

The workshop was AMAZING! I like music, so the idea about ‘listening to the music’ really suited me. The thing about confidence was a big help too. I’d have loved to learn more moves though…
For the whole hour it was really upbeat, so it was exiting and fun the whole time.
Well Done!!

I was the girl who came down and said thank you.
Hi i thought i’d leave a feedback of what i thought of today’s section in Brunel University.
Today’s speech was very aspiring and a real learning curve for me. I learnt that its not about how ambitious or clever you are, its about raw determination and effort and of course GETTING YOUR ASS OUT OF BED. I also learnt that sucess is not all about your financial status but how good you feel after giving something back or achieving something big. One thing i would like to say about the speech (BY THE WAY THIS NOT A CRITISM ITS A SUGGESTION) is that you need to actually come into this day and age where there is constant gun and knife crime and talk about difficulties and challenges because what i got from today’s session was a case of one success to another. There must at one point been a challenge that you had to get over to acheive all this success because the mentality i got from today’s speech was the journey was plain smooth sailing(which i’m not saying is a bad thing). You need to talk more about what youth are having to battle with constantly that might stop them from getting their goals. You are someone who i feel has acheived a lot for yourself and others around you and i aspire to be like one day which is why i felt i owed you my time to leave this comment.
Thanks you and God bless
P.S: Hope you’ll come back and talk soon about your next big step

Was great to see you again Andy…..although I am part of the staff team at urban scholars I am still a student myself and wholly believe in your philosophy of always remaining a student. All of the Urban Scholars thought you were amazing and I know they all left the session with a lot to think about in the way of personal development. You mentioned that you mentor…..some of your knowledge and positivity would be of great benefit to me! Thank you and I hope you continue to be an inspiration!

Andy…another greet session.
I’d love to meet yr parents - they must be amazing people to have created someone as talented as you…not only are you an incredible ‘mover’ but you’re also gifted at relating to others and inspiring us all - yr parents must be so proud of you!
Keep up the great work…the dancing, choreography and the inspiring of others.
The very best of wishes.

Hi Andy!!
I told you I would leave you a message (don’t know if i’m doing it the right way but hey….(not very I.T literate)…
Just wanted to say your presentation today to the Urban Scholars was brilliant!!!! You even inspired me as one of the tutors!!!! (but also as a person who loves to dance too…)
You thoroughly deserve all you have achieved so far and all the success and achievemants that will be coming your way!
You are a star-Keep up the good work!!
