I have been going to street dancing for a year and I am totally addicted, its brilliant! I really wanted to improve on my dancing and Andy recommended that I got the Urban Strides DVD. Buying the DVD was the best decision ever, totally worth the money, its excellent! I get to practice everything that is taught in class, plus many extra skills. All the moves are broken down which enables me to learn at my own pace. The DVD is helping me to move my dancing onto the next level and my confidence has grown. I would definitely recommend buying it and if I was to describe it in three words it would be: fun, funky and fresh!

Hi Andy,
I have just got your DVD as I have been in a workshop for 3 days at cleves school, I had such fun it was the best ever
JP is nice but we had to do soooooo many press ups and we did about 400!!!
I have learnt how to dance better and i,m going to watch the DVD and i,m going to try and get to the classes too as dancing isn,t just for girls

It is not without tremendous honour that i have the opportunity to be the first to review “Pure Street Dance” DVD in all its bodacious glory.
To cut bluntly to the point; this is BY FAR the finest product to come out of the Urban Strides factory to date. Those of you familiar with Andy’s “Foundaaaaaaations” will be pleased to see a step by step breakdown of each move which starts at a real slow pace progressing right up to performance speed. This layout is just perfect for practicing in front of the TV/PC if you want to hone a particular niche in your basic dance technique to absolute perfection. More advanced moves like Waving, Popping, Gliding, Happy Feet and Combo techiniques are included in the same format - and lets face it, its the more visually impressive moves that everybody really wants to be able to pull off!
That’s just chaper 1, the second part features dance routines at four separate difficulty levels broken down systematically and then performed. This reviewer particularly enjoyed the outdoor set used with all the pimped out cars (think Step Up 2 without the rain storm!) which got some serious applause when i premiered the DVD to my fellow pilots this morning. But by far my favourite part of the package is the extras that it comes loaded with where you get to meet the dance crew and go backstage on some of the tour footage. Now i bought the DVD for two reasons: 1) I was somewhat drunk at the time and 2) I wanted to improve my dance skills. Given this fact it might seem odd that i’d be lauding the special features above all else, but let me tell you something, when i saw the clip where Andy gets an audience of 500+ people out of their seats and moving along to the beat you just can’t help but be inspired by the sheer charisma of the performers and the way they project that confidence and ease onto others.
In summary this is truly an awe-inspiring product that i would heartily endorse for everyone, old and young, beginner and expert alike. For the 1st time in years i find myself presenting the rare accolade of Captain Tommy H’s 5-Star***** rating. Buy without doubt or remorse!!!
