Yo Yo famile

Hope your cool. So I was flicking through my photo’s the other day on my phone and I saw a couple that made me laugh my ass off.

Here’s the story:

A few weeks ago I go round my mum’s house and spend some time with the fam, (if you have never met my family, I’m the quiet one….no seriously it’s like the Osbournes on Crack) anywho my Mum starts saying how she reckon’s I owe her a pair of trainers cos her limited edition NIke Air Max 95′s (which I bought especially from New York) needed replacing. So I’m like cool we’ll go shopping make a day of it have some fun times. So we go shopping and in true Instone style me my mum and my beautiful girlfriend go and basically laugh all day which is what we do when we hang out.

So here are some shots of the day to give you an idea…

Here she is displaying the two possible trainer options but if you look carefully she has spotted something…

Now she’s excited as she sees and oversized shoe which looks the size of a house… this pleases my mothers simple mind she smiles in sheer joy…see smile

So after this photo she drops the trainers and runs over to the oversized shoe and points at the big shoe and says “I want that one” the man looks at the shoe looks at my Mum…looks behind my Mum for her carer then replies with a strange quizzical look…”er I’m sorry madam that isn’t for sale”.

Mum asks for his trainers instead…shop assistant now visibly sweating replies cautiously,
“unfortunately there out of stock” (I think he was lying he just didn’t want a mad 60 yr old running around in his limited edition Puma’s)

So we continue until we find a shop and we get Mum a brand new pair of shiny trainers… see happy face …

Obviously when she tries them on she “tests” them.. this means bustin the running man in the middle of the shop, this assistant had a much better sense of humour, replies to my mum “you’ve made my day!” Mum looks over her glasses and with a perfectly straight face simply replies in her old school Hackney accent…”That’s just how I roll” Picks up her bag thanks the man and walks out of the shop. A masterclass in shopping madness – shop assistant laughing – job done.

The reason I am regaling this tale of Instone family madness is 2 fold.

1. Life is too short not to live every second as if it’s your last
and
2. Making someone else smile or laugh is the best gift you can ever give

There are many important people in your life, friends and family and when you think about it with out their support you wouldn’t amount to much.

Because these relationships are so important I would take a minute to think about the last time someone really supported you, went out of their way for you or simply just put a smile on your face. Do something cool today and just send them a text telling you love em and that your life is better cos their in it, it will go a long way and it will make you feel fantastic knowing you put a bit of joy in someones life.

Remember to say thank you…

Have a great weekend fam

Big luv

Andy

P.S. After you’ve done that we can all hug and sing kumbaya around a camp fire…safe.
