Hey fam,

Big thank you for everyone who attended the Urban Strides Official Dance Crew auditions on Sunday. The atmosphere was electric and the level was ridiculous, we could have easily filled the crew 3 times over!  The standard was exceptional, the whole judging panel agreed the best yet, we were incredibly impressed with how much everyone has improved.  The vibe was great and I was so proud of how you conducted yousrselves even though some of you were understandably dissappointed. A great attitude costs nothing  and I was so pleased with how you were all looking at ways in which you could improve for next year. Thank you to those of you who dropped your positive messages on the blog, they are totally representative of the great vibe of the Urban Strides family.  Unfortunately selection procedures are always going to be a part of life whether it be a job interview or try outs for a footbal team, and the positive attitudes from those of you who were unsuccessful just showed what sets us apart as a family and was probably one of my proudest moments all day.  Congratulations to the new Official Urban Strides Dance Crew bearing in mind the quality of everyone who came it is a fantstic achievement to have been selected.  Some of the people who made it in this year have been auditioning for three years so it just goes to prove if you want something bad enough you will always get there.  Well done on your tenacity and dedication.
