Hope your cool, thought we’d put this up. It’s from our performance at the 02 arena during our arena tour. It’s a nice mix of krumpin and funk plus our favourite piece of the moment the William Tell Overture. We really enjoyed performing it and the response we got was really cool. I thought this would make you smile, a little excerpt from Hip Hop Don’t Stop during the summer. The Style Elements crew were rocking it out! This is what Hip Hop Don’t Stop is all about, having a laugh and learning some sick moves! we also like to do things differently, locking on chairs? why not! I have had a great week at classes this week the energy has been through the roof I can’t wait to rock it out with you at Hip Hop Don’t Stop and take everything to the next level, if you have never been before this is a small example of how much fun it will be. check the vid!

Today the offical Urban Strides Dance crew and myself taught Richard Branson how to do the running man with beatbox legend Beardyman! It was hilarious and incredibly sureal, I had to take the mik out of him for being late! It doesnt matter who you are, if you’re late for class we will bust you even if you are one of the richest men on the face of the earth! It was comedy gold, we had a wicked laugh and the whole day was awesome. Just another rung on the ladder of randomness for Urban Strides it goes hand in hand with my monnwalk in a guerilla suit at Glastonbury on headline sunday! Check the video and drop us a comment!

I was at My Aylesbury High class on Wednesday (A-town massive! woop woop!) trying to explain why Hip Hop Don’t Stop is so sick. I couldn’t do it because what makes it so special is how it makes you feel, I don’t mean that in a hippy “lets sit round a campfire and sing kumby-ya” way! I mean unless you have experienced the positivity and energy at the event then you simply won’t get it, it’s like trying to describe to someone how you feel when you jump out of a plane. You can describe it but other people who haven’t experienced it won’t get it until they jump out of the plane too. You know at Hip Hop Don’t Stop you will:
BUT! What I can’t put down in words is just how good it will make you feel, the passion, the fun the energy the moments when you laugh so much you think a bit of wee is gonna come out!! All of these things I can tell you but you have to be their to feel it for yourself. It’s like that old saying you have to see it to believe it. So I thought you should have a look about how other people feel about Hip Hop Don’t Stop, check the vid: our instructors Mekanikool ( UK Champion 06,07) Dickson ( UK champion07,08,09) and Marcus ( From U.S.A - Renee Harris Pure Movement) are quite adament that there is nothing like this in London or the rest of the UK and they should know they teach all over the world from Singapore, to Denmark!

I thought this would be good for guys to see. Tommy who has been a student of ours for 4 years rockin it on the arena tour at Birmingham NIA. This was at the end of the show when Me and Beardyman had an impromtu jam session as the 14 000 strong crowd were leaving. Tommy was only 15 in this video but you can rest assured all of it was freestyled I even chucked in some beatbox beats with 2 x Uk Beatbox champ BeardyMan. Tommy came to Hip Hop Don’t Stop 3 times and each time he improved dramatically, this year he improved so much he even got a solo with the Official Dance Crew on the 16 date arena tour performing in the huge 20′000 MEN the night after 50 Cent! It just goes to prove if you work hard enough for something it will pay off.

This is what this event is all about! This is Segun’s 2nd year of Hip Hop Don’t Stop and he took full advantage of the week, he was always in the circle and he improved rapidly, we can’t wait to see how much he has come on for the Autumn week. You really do get out what you put in, so challenge yourself and take a positive step, be commited to fullfilling your potential because when you can freestyle with total confidence there is no better feeling. You only have 2 weeks to confirm your place at HIp Hop Don’t Stop and the places are filling up quick you will get so much out of it I am telling you about it because it has the potential to dramatically transform the way you dance for the better, just look at Segun.

Ha ha, this cracked me up, we were just chillin in the canteen at Hip Hop Don’t Stop hanging with the family when we come across Marcus (epic flave) from Philladelphia just rocking out a sick bboy freestyle. Marcus is one of our awesome teachers who got a great reception and is coming back in October to teach some bboying and new jack swing, (If you don’t know about new jack swing, all will be revealed at the event!) I love these moments from Hip Hop Don’t Stop, there were so many improtu moments that happen at Hip Hop Don’t Stop that make it such an exciting place to be. It always puts a smile on my face knowing that while your chomping on a sandwich you can watch world class BBoys throwing down! ahhhaaa the magic of Hip Hip Don’t Stop! Well, the 1st day of hip hop don’t stop and everyone seems to be loving another action packed year and so much knowledge being dropped it’s making people dizzy!We even had Dickson the 2008 Uk popping champ drop in with Mekanikool from the Urban Strides family. I had a great day sharing, you guys are dope, there was some serious funk kicking around! Thanks for all the fantastic feedback I got today if you are on Hip Hop Don’t Stop drop us a comment and let us know how your feeling the vibe.
